if you want to run 33's, you will need to get a grinder into the guards I am afraid. The wheel arches are just too small to run a 33.
If you want to run 31's, a 2 inch lift and a slight trim on the back guards will stop the fouling on flex.

cheers and dont forget the pics _________________ V8 Disco with a few mods..... |

My range rover has 2 inches of guards removed, 2 inch body and 2 inch spring. Other range rovers with this set up have run 'small' 35s with no problem what so ever.
Is your lift body or spring?? _________________ 1986 Range Rover:Custom suspension & 31" silverstone X-tremes for sale. |

a spacer will be fine as long as its properly made of course. I have used the poly spring spacers (on a disco) as well as a steel spacer under the bottom coil plate (on a rangie) with no probs. It all depends on what you want it for really.
If you want articulation, then its fine to use a spacer, just make sure you use a nice long shock otherwise its all in vain.
If you want to run 33's, then a 2 inch coil lift and cut & flare the guards is the minimum requirement. You will need the flares if running an 8 inch rim with a -25mm offset anyway so you might as well make the guard opening larger at the same time. Flexi flares like mine will cover them nicely.
If you want to run 35's on a disco, you will need 2 inch coils, 2 inch body lift and cut and flare the guards at a min.
I have been down all these roads with disco's and rangies, so speak with experience.
if you need any more advice or pics, let me know.

hi looks like just springs and shocks its pretty stock measured against my brother which is dead stock and mine was 25mm higher at front and 75mm higher at rear compared to his measured from center of wheel to guard on each his looked to sit lower in back like its sagged so guessed as an average it was 2" higher ? _________________ 96 disco v8 auto 2"lift 32"bighorns,arb bar ,sliders ,rear bar, tigerz winch
